Fun venue but vendor food, drink and cocktail prices are ridiculously high. More than larger venues that draw more popular entertainers. This venue also doesn't draw the big names it used to attract.
Also have fun walking on rocks half a mile, at least, to get to venue.
I wouldn't go back here if you paid me and gave me front row tickets to see my favorite artist.
15 dollars for a can of beer. 18 dollars for a mixed drink.
They let people tailgate all day, so if you like to be surrounded by sloppy, drunk people this venue is for you.
The worst place to see a concert. They let people smoke anywhere and everywhere. While sitting in my seats, I was surrounded by people smoking cigarettes.
Poor parking, poorly staffed, poorly provisioned, show after show. A show with thousands of attendees only has one person working the merch stand. Explain that to me. Beverage stands are out of beverages consistently. Last year, the entire venue ran out of bottled water before the first show even started. I asked them if they knew that they were having a concert there that night. The walk to and from the parking lot is beyond insane. Prepare to walk miles up the side of a mountain. It's not fun. The seats in the Pavilion are tiny. It's so crowded. This is really a poorly designed concert venue.
Parking is difficult to get out due to traffic. I recommend leaving before the show ends. It is a decent hike to the pavilion from the parking area, and it was uphill to get back to the car. The pavilion itself is nice. 100 and 200 sections are all covered. Only the lawn seats are exposed to the rain. Food expensive (no surprise), but several options. No real bathrooms, just portable units and they were pretty nasty. This feels like a PA hillbilly venue. You either like that or you don't. I liked it, but the traffic and the bathrooms drop this to 2 stars. Seating recommendation is to get in the front of the 200-level sections for the value play.
Terrible traffic when leaving. Too much money for beer. Too many drunks. Great music, always.
