After getting repairs and an oil change done at this Pep Boys location, I opened the hood of my car and realized that the hood holder has been zip tied. I talked to the manager and he told me that when he saw that he yelled at the mechanic but the mechanic told him that he found it this way. If it was indeed so, why didn't he mention it to me. I had to find out on my own that they used a zip tie to hold it together. This prove bad management and bad customer service. This was a bad experience and I can guarantee you that I will never go to the Pep Boys in Dickson City, PA ever again. (Please see attach picture)
I had the luck of running over a pothole. Not only did I get 1 flat tire, but 2. Damn Scranton at 7:pm. I went up to Pep Boys and met with Service Advisor Chris. He was a true God. He understood my situation and went up and above to help me. He is a true asset to that company. I never write reviews, but in this instance, the gentleman should be recognized for his hard work and excellent customer skills. They now have a 100% faithful customer in me for life. Thank you again Chris!!!
Justin and Maria we're very helpful when I came in just before closing time for a simple tool that was holding up a very important job for my company. Even though the item needed was out of stock on the shelf, Justin took the time to go in back and find one. Great staff, will be returning.
My boyfriend and I got a flat tire on our way from New York to DC in Scranton on 630 pm. We ended up being directed to the local pep boys, and I am so glad we were! Matt and Chris were great, helped to make sure we could get on the road quickly and were great with there advice. While its never great to break down, I am glad that we broke down outside of this amazing store. Kudos to them for all their help!
Pep Boys is the best auto chain for do it yourselfers like me. They carry so much more then just the standard. This store should be a little cleaner and hire more folks but the service wasn't bad,
